Successful 60 hour Radiothon raises $6500!

Triple Y like many other Whyalla organisations have experienced challenges over the last couple of years, and this year we have set a fundraising goal of $20,000 for equipment to keep us broadcasting.
We kicked off the first of our fundraising efforts with a bang, a 60 hour radiothon over the Anzac Day long weekend, with different announcers in the chair broadcasting live for the entire 60 hours.
With the help of listeners, local business, and the Whyalla community, our 60hour radiothon raised $6500!

Triple Y has been Whyalla’s only community radio station for almost 40 years. We have supported non for profits, charities, local fundraisers and groups, small businesses and more for decades; to continue supporting locals, we are asking the locals to support us
